Thomas Caine

Thomas Caine is President of Caine Mitter. He has been a principal of the firm since its inception in 1978. His responsibilities include supervising and providing all of the services of the firm. He has 39 years of experience with housing related public finance and 42 years of experience in the municipal industry, including structuring bond issues for 20 State housing finance agencies. Before forming Caine Mitter’s predecessor firm, Mr. Caine was with Paine Webber for ten years, including three years in municipal syndicate and trading and seven years in public finance. Mr. Caine was the first person to use computer modeling in structuring a bond issue by a housing finance agency and was the architect of the first comprehensive cash flow software. He graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Economics and attended the Wharton Graduate Division of the University of Pennsylvania.

 
Karen Marquis

Karen Marquis has nineteen years of experience providing financial and quantitative services to housing finance agencies. Ms. Marquis is an expert in both single and multifamily housing finance. She performs all of the quantitative services that housing finance agencies need and is an expert in rating agency consultation and bond issue and program development. Prior to working with Caine Mitter, she was with its predecessor firms, CGMS Incorporated and Caine Gressel Midgley Slater Incorporated. Her earlier experience includes working for a major computer services company. Ms. Marquis graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Finance and minor in Economics. Ms. Marquis is located in the Northampton, MA office.

 
Bronson Martin

Bronson Martin has seven years of experience in housing-related public finance. Mr. Martin has a broad range of expertise within affordable housing finance, specializing in quantitative services and capital adequacy studies. In addition to lending his skills to regular bond issue services and analyses, Mr. Martin is an expert in single family housing finance agency programs and capital adequacy analyses. His prior experience includes working with an investment advisory firm. Mr. Martin graduated Cum Laude from Cornell University with a Bachelors of Science in Applied Economics and Management.

 
Nandini Natarajan

Nandini Natarajan has seventeen years of housing-related public finance experience. She is an expert in both single and multifamily housing finance and works with housing finance agencies on all aspects of their capital markets programs, including providing any and all quantitative analysis required. Ms. Natarajan is also the primary designer of Caine Mitter’s cash flow software. Having an individual with her combination of experience in housing finance and computer technology makes Caine Mitter unique in its ability to meet the cash flow software needs of housing finance agencies. Prior to working with Caine Mitter, she was with its predecessor firm, CGMS Incorporated. Ms. Natarajan has a B.A. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Smith College, and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

 
Victor Chiang

Victor Chiang has six years of housing-related public finance experience. He provides financial advisory services, including quantitative, investment and derivative consulting, to State and local housing finance agencies. Among the services he provides are analyses of bond financing structures, bond refunding scenarios and bond redemption strategies; presentations of underwriter performance, derivate performance and investment portfolio performance; and calculations of bond yields, mortgage yields and Universal Cap compliance. His prior experience includes working in wealth management at a major investment banking firm. Mr. Chiang graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Public Policy Studies.

 
Ansel Caine

Ansel Caine has five years of experience in public finance. His expertise ranges from both single family and multifamily housing finance to derivative products. Mr. Caine manages the finance plans and performs comprehensive quantitative analysis for several clients. Prior to working at Caine Mitter, Mr. Caine worked at UBS Investment Bank. His time there was split between its municipal quantitative banking group and its derivatives desk. He graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Environmental Science and Policy.

 
Francesca Cooke

Francesca Cooke has one year of housing-related public finance experience. Ms. Cooke graduated Cum Laude from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

 
Yamini Kalidindi

Yamini Kalidindi has one year of housing-related public finance experience. Ms. Kalidindi graduated Cum Laude from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Business Administration, with a major in Finance and International Business and a minor in Economics.

 
Ren Yuan

Ren Yuan has one year of housing-related public finance experience. Ms. Yuan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Art in Public Policy Studies.

 
Patricia Ho

Patricia Ho joined Caine Mitter in July of 2011. Ms. Ho graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics, concentrating in Finance and Operations and Information Management.

 
Bert Storey

Bert Storey has eleven years of housing-related cash flow programming experience. Mr. Storey is the primary software engineer of Caine Mitter’s cash flow software. He makes enhancements to the software to reflect innovative bond financing structures and investment vehicles, and he makes modifications to the software to incorporate changing federal tax legislation and regulations. Prior to working with Caine Mitter, Mr. Storey taught mathematics and participated in the development of various software packages over a 25 year period. Mr. Storey has a B.A. in Mathematics from Washington and Lee University and an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Miami.

 
Mauryne Van Dusen

Mauryne Van Dusen has worked with Caine Mitter for 20 years. During that time her responsibilities have included the preparation of disclosure documents, as well as other support services. Ms. Van Dusen graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Education.
